This is a temporary full-time position that is anticipated to extend until July 2, 2027, and is subject to the availability of work.
HMMS is a joint venture between St. Joseph's Health Care London and London Health Sciences Centre, that has been operating since 1997 providing consolidated functions of Sourcing, Contract Management, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Logistics, Supply Chain Systems and Inventory Management for the London Hospitals and numerous healthcare organizations throughout Southwestern Ontario.

Reporting to the Manager, HMMS Finance, this role provides process expertise within HMMS governance framework (legal, regulatory, policy, and contractual) along with technological and procedural proficiency to ensure HMMS meets quality obligations. As an ambassador of the organization to internal and external stakeholders at various levels throughout the organizations (front line up to C-Suite) this role is directly accountable for quality indicators and provides subject matter expertise within Strategic projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate training, orientation and knowledge sharing with stakeholders
- Review HMMS performance within area of expertise and provide support and recommendations to leadership
- Ensure operational deliverables are compliant to governance framework while achieving quality expectations
- Ensure HMMS activities are compliant with Legal and Regulatory requirements
- Lead cross-functional committees of internal and external stakeholders to establish priorities and implement solutions
- Lead cross-functional projects to completion with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct structured business reviews to measure organizational performance, achievement of targets and areas for process improvement
- Prepare and present written communication to internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Participate in regional and provincial initiatives on behalf of HMMS as a subject matter expert
