Salary Range: $36.84 - $50.24 /hour


We are seeking a registered Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join our General X-Ray team. The successful candidate will perform a broad range of diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, radiation protection, and a positive patient experience.

The MRT will work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, Medical Imaging professionals, and the interdisciplinary care team to provide safe, high-quality patient care.



Essential Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized Medical Radiation Technology program
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic radiography principles, positioning, radiation protection and image quality
  • Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
  • Capable of performing various technical procedures requiring independent judgment with skill, ingenuity and initiative
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external customers
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated personal and professional accountability and initiative to achieve high-quality examinations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years recent experience as a Registered Technologist
  • Registered or eligible for registration with CAMRT
  • Proficiency in French would be an asset
Teaching and Research
  • St. Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. As an employee of St Joseph's, you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties
Immunization Requirements
  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
