St. Joseph's Health Care London offers an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Pharmacy Systems Analyst.
The Pharmacy Systems Analyst supports the maintenance and continuous improvement of medication technology (e.g., PacMed, Pyxis, PakEdge) and electronic health record systems (e.g., Cerner PharmNet) to enable safe, efficient medication-use processes across the organization.
Working closely alongside the Pharmacy Systems Specialist, this role contributes to the building, testing and maintenance of medication builds in our electronic health record system (e.g., formulary updates, barcoding, drug cost updates, compounded product configuration, generating and analyzing medication-related reports, etc.). As a key technical resource for various medication technologies, the Pharmacy Systems Analyst also provides day-to-day troubleshooting, end-user support, and back-end system support for upgrades, implementations, and system performance issues. This position actively contributes to quality assurance and patient safety initiatives by participating in system change projects and testing system changes prior to implementation.
The Pharmacy Systems Analyst is part of the Pharmacy Support Services, within the St. Joseph's Health Care London Pharmacy Department. The Pharmacy Department provides care across all St. Joseph?s sites: St. Joseph?s Hospital, Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, Parkwood Institute Main Building and Finch Family Mental Health Care Building, and Southwest Centre for Forensic Mental Health. The Pharmacy Department also provides care directly to members of our community through the two Prescription Shop pharmacies. The Pharmacy Department welcomes learners year-round, including pharmacy technician students, pharmacist students, and a pharmacy resident.
