Salary Range: $39.07 - $56.00 /hour

Essential Qualifications

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Valid CPR certificate
Basic ECG interpretation
Certification in IV BDC, drug administration including narcotics and anxiolytics.
Experience monitoring and assessment of patients undergoing IV conscious sedation
Knowledge and demonstration of surgical aseptic technique, ie Operating Room Nursing Course or recent experience in scrub nurse role
Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
Ability and commitment to act as a supervisor under OHSA
Excellent decision making, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Demonstrated effective collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills as part of an interdisciplinary team
Self-directed individual with leadership abilities.
Ability to be flexible with a team approach to support all areas of Diagnostic Imaging including: managing patients with allergic contrast reactions, dressing changes, foley catheterizations, assessing patients medical status and ordering medical consults in collaboration with radiologist.
Physical strength to stand for long periods wearing lead apron approximately 15 lbs.

Immunization Requirements

Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
