Salary Range: $61.90 - $72.82 /hour
Temporary employment anticipated to extend until March 31, 2026, subject to the availability of work.
St. Joseph's Health Care London is the lead for the Regional Geriatric Program of Southwestern Ontario (RGP SWO). The Manager, Regional Geriatric Program is responsible in leading the RGP SWO Research & Strategy Team, who develop, co-design, implement, and evaluate regional initiatives aimed at improving the care system for older adults at risk or living with frailty and their caregivers. This role has a focus on quality initiatives, research, and developing and fostering key system partnerships and relationships. Management of portfolio resources and talent to deliver this unique work is a key focus, as well as risk management, and health and safety. This interim manager role will continue to lead system design and continuous evaluation across Southwestern Ontario as well as support capacity building with our partners in geriatrics.
Essential Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a health-related discipline, or adult education
- 2 years recent relevant experience leading health system (re)design, within the healthcare sector (Quality Improvement and/or Program Evaluation or Project Management) and with the Geriatric population Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
- Ability and commitment to act as a supervisor under OHSA
- Demonstrated abilities in fiscal management and operational decision-making
- Demonstrated interest and experience in research and program evaluation
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, responsiveness and conflict resolution
- Exceptional facilitation and leadership skills
- Able to demonstrate experience with strong influencer skills, with highly developed interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with the ability managing competing priorities
- Excellent report writing skills
- Self-directed
- Ability to engage others, provide presentations
- Demonstrated ability to use Word, PowerPoint, Excel at an Intermediate level
- Comfortable using social media (Twitter, Facebook) as a networking/communication strategy
- Exceptional facilitation and leadership skills
- Solid knowledge and understanding of legislation related to Employment, People & Financial Management In addition, the successful candidate will possess strong Leadership Capabilities that include: Lead Self, Engage Others, Achieve Results, Develop Coalition, System Transformation
Preferred Qualifications- Regulated Health professional and eligibility for College membership preferred
- Proficiency in French would be an asset
Teaching and Research- St. Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. Immunization Requirements- Provide documentation you have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine (primary series/boosters, XBB or KP.2) OR one dose of KP.2 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the start date.
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox)
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
