Regular Part Time
Salary Range: $36.84 - $50.24 /hour
We are seeking a registered MRT (R) with experience in both general radiography and CT. While CT experience is preferred, it is not required. The successful candidate will work across both general X-ray and CT modalities within the department.
Essential Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized radiography program
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario
- Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
- Capable of performing various technical procedures requiring independent judgment with skill, ingenuity and initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external customers
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Demonstrated personal and professional accountability and initiative to achieve high quality examinations
- Flexibility to work all shifts as required
Preferred Qualifications- Two years recent experience as a Registered Technologist
- Completion of the IV injection Program for injection of contrast media
- Registered technologist with CT experience
- Registered or eligible for registration with CAMRT
- Proficiency in French would be an asset
Teaching and Research- St. Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. As an employee of St Joseph's, you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties
Immunization Requirements- Provide documentation you have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine (primary series, boosters and/or XBB) OR one dose of XBB vaccine at least 14 days prior to the start date.
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox)
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
