The research assistant will be working under the supervision of Dr. Manuel Montero-Odasso, Director of the Gait & Brain Laboratory, and Research Coordinators, within a multi-disciplinary research team at Parkwood Institute on interventional research studies related to mobility and cognition in older adults. The successful incumbent will be joining a recently funded national interventional virtual trial to improve mobility and cognition in older adults. With training, their main duties will be conducting remote cognitive and mobility assessments, and coaching older adult participants in better improving five lifestyle domains: exercise, cognitive training, diet, sleep, and vascular risk factors. The successful incumbent will work under the supervision of the Study Research Coordinator (RC), and will also conduct day-to-day operations of the research study such as recruitment, preparing packages for the mailing of study materials, and other duties as required.
